Anneke is a lecturer in Human Resource Management at Manchester Metropolitan University. Before assuming this position, she served as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at Liverpool University, where she successfully completed her PhD in Organisational Behaviour in July 2021. Anneke’s research interests span HRM, Organisational Behaviour, and Work Psychology, with a particular focus on the Work-Family interface. Her research delves into the transition to parenthood within a work context, the examination of organisational maternity and paternity policies and practices, gender dynamics in the workplace, and the nuanced dynamics of non-traditional families—including lone parents, blended families, and same-sex couples.
