Rachel is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Liverpool. Her research interests lie at the interface between digital modes of communication and consumers, specifically looking at contexts such as food and entrepreneurship. In addition to other outlets, her work has been published in the Journal of Consumer Research, British Journal of Management and Gender, Work and Organization, among others. More recently, Rachel has also conducted research and project work focusing on increasing the well-being of diverse families, including research exploring the experiences of working mothers during COVID-19, reflecting on how national lockdowns caused a reversal to traditional gender roles.
