Ebru Calin (she/her) is a doctoral researcher at the University of Liverpool Management School, in the Work, Organisation and Management group. Ebru’s research draws on phenomenology, queer theory, and new feminist materialisms to explore how intersectional injustices are felt and embodied in organisational life. Focusing on religious professionals, Ebru examines how lived experiences of work and family are shaped by complex relations of gender, sexuality, and religion. Through an emphasis on corporeality, affect, and performativity, her work seeks to surface new understandings of how injustice is registered in the body and mind within the context of work.
