Mya is a Doctoral Researcher at University of Liverpool Management School. Her research explores inclusive leadership and the leadership relationship in the context of neurodiversity, particularly how neurodivergent employees and leaders define and experience “inclusive leadership” in daily practice, in the aim of supporting organisations towards more neuro- inclusive leadership practices. She is also passionate about inclusive research methods that empower the engagement and voice of neurodivergent people. Alongside academic research, Mya has published a series of practitioner research reports on inclusive leadership with Avenir Consulting and has delivered presentations on neurodiversity and inclusive leadership across the North West of England.
